Past Work & Experience
In College, I acted primarily in student-run productions, as I enjoy how personal and collaborative these are. I performed in a devised theatre piece, a staged reading, two one-woman shows, several one-acts, and a short film. This range of experience has exposed me to a wide array of theatrical practices and techniques, and it informed the direction and performance of my own senior thesis project. For this project, I directed and performed the one-woman show Chicks by Grace McKeaney. Additionally, I've taken acting classes in realism, theatricalism, and Shakespeare and have performed in two Main Stage productions.
Outside of Hamilton, I’ve had professional experience as a stage manager at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as a performer/writer in an original show at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, Colorado. The project, "Things We Will Miss," is a devised piece produced by square product theatre, and it is presently in development at universities around the country.
In 2023, I completed a semester-long study at The Second City, where I took classes in writing, acting, improvisation, and comedy history. I continued living/working in Chicago, doing stand-up and sketch comedy. I was most recently writing/performing with groups Slip Dress and Secret Family at BugHouse Theatre and The Den Theatre.
I moved back to New York City this Spring and am eager to continue producing original shows. I'm currently working on a short play about girlhood. And math.
